Brúarfoss waterfall is a lovely waterfall in Grímsnes in South-West Iceland. It is one of the hidden gems of Iceland. The river has got the most amazing blue colour.

It is a char river and it is so clear that the char can easily be seen through the blue water. In summer time it is a delight fishing in this lovely river.

On a bright day leave your warm and cozy dormitory and go for a walk around Reykjavik city centre. Look to northwest and feast your eyes to the huge mount behind the horizon. This mount with an ice cap is a glacier mount Snæfellsjökull – famous location of Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Verne was a smart guy because Snæfellsjökull and the whole Snæfellsnes Peninsula is a special place. It is believed that this is a place that has a special power. Of course not so powerful like my cool vehicle Ford E350, but you have to visit it. I would be happy to drive you there.

Skógafoss waterfall is 30 kilometres away from Seljalands- foss waterfall. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Skógafoss is 60 m high and 25 meters wide and you can walk right up to it.

Standing so close to a powerful waterfall is overwhelming. There are staircases leading you up to a view-point on the hill, with 527 steps leading up to the view-point! There are many more beautiful waterfalls in the south, but it is a must visiting these two waterfalls. You will not regret it :)
